First Ever National LGBT Real Estate Conference Coming to Fort Lauderdale

As LGBT advocacy is reshaping the country, the first ever National LGBT Real Estate Conference will be hosted in Fort Lauderdale  October 14-16.  Registration for the event is presently open and the host organization  the National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals, NAGLREP is expecting 400 LGBT and Gay Friendly real estate professionals from all over the USA and international destinations to attend.

It's an exciting time for LGBT real estate says NAGLREP founder Jeff Berger of Jupiter, Florida.  The organization was established in 2007 and includes over 700 LGBT and gay friendly real estate professionals nationwide and continues to grow.  As advocates members leveraged their influence and advanced both sexual orientation and gender identity protections to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.   Now NAGLREP is hosting their inaugural conference and the line up is a who's who in LGBT real estate.  Former major league baseball player Billy Bean is a top echelon Realtor in Los Angeles and will offer a keynote address to the attendees, along with a joint keynote from Tom Roth of Community Marketing and Insights and Jim Shiefelbein, the principal consultant to Dream Town Realty's groundbreaking LGBT division in Chicago.  Matt Skallerud, President of Pink Banana Media will also attend and share his expertise in LGBT social networking and marketing.  The two-day intensive program will feature informative town-hall sessions, and tips-filled breakout sessions.

With a home run line up, the event would not be complete with after hours excitement in Fort Lauderdale, the city known to be the number one LGBT destination in the world.  Evening networking events include the Opening Reception including a performance by the South Florida Gay Men's Chorus, a Cruise Night Out on the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Waterway with 400 LGBT and Gay Friendly real estate professionals including entertainers Latrice Royale, Morgan McMichaels, Dida Ritz, and Meyakie LaPaige, all Top Features on RuPaul's Drag Race.  Then the final night attendees will share a Night Out in Wilton Manors.
