Gay Desert Guide, the online LGBT guide to Palm Springs, has been name Business of the Year by the Desert Business Association (DBA).  Founder and Publisher Brad Fuhr will accept the award on Monday, March 9th at the organization’s annual installation and awards dinner.

Brad launched the website on Labor Day weekend 2013 after eight months of populating the site from scratch.  He built partnerships and alliances with business groups including DBA, not for profits and government agencies to create a portal for both locals and visitors alike to discover the Palm Springs Oasis.

The website has received nearly a quarter million page views and has been accessed by nearly 70,000 users since its inception less than two years ago.  Gay Desert Guide has a large social media following on Facebook and Twitter. News covers LGBT-friendly companies, LGBT-owned businesses, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender executives, entrepreneurs, employees, business trends and more.

LGBT Business News announced its official launch on January 19, 2015. The company will publish a full-page bi-weekly print publication, a monthly magazine and have a robust web site, that will produce exclusive news and content about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The announcement came shortly after their print and distribution partnership with the Miami Herald.
